The Russian hosts outclassed their French opponents with three finely taken goals from Dzyuba, Hulk and Danny to cancel out Lacazette's second half equaliser
Zenit produced an impressive home display to comfortably dispatch Ligue 1 side Lyon 3-1 in the Champions League on Tuesday.
It took just three minutes for Artyom Dzyuba to open the scoring at Petrovsky Stadium, as the Russia international striker bent his shot around Anthony Lopes from the edge of the area.
Following the half-time break, Alexandre Lacazette levelled the scoreline with a clever close range backheel from inside the six-yard box.
But Hulk stole the limelight with a brilliant individual goal. The Brazilian attacker picked the ball up on the half-way line, skipped past two French defenders and struck a bending effort from 35-yards past the helpless Lopes.
Andre Villas-Boas’ men then made sure of all three points as Portuguese playmaker Danny rounded off a well-worked counter attack (GOAL)
