Rooney and Walcott star alongside a celebrity cast in the video which is hoping to raise awareness of breast cancer in the United Kingdom
Wayne Rooney, Gary Cahill and Theo Walcott have joined forces to help promote a new partnership between The FA and Breast Cancer Care.
England World Cup stars Lianne Sanderson, Karen Carney and Laura Bassett also feature in the 90-second film, which is dedicated to the 'Pass It On' campaign.
The film, which also features England legend Sir Geoff Hurst, provides the message of “Know ‘em. Check ‘em. Love your breasts and #PassItOn.”
The FA are hoping that their partnership with the charity will help make the nation aware of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, as early diagnosis can save lives.
Rooney said: "It was great fun for me and the lads to film some tricks for the ‘Pass It On’ video.
"Breast cancer affects everyone, even men, so The FA has teamed up with Breast Cancer Care to encourage everyone to check their breasts regularly. To find out what changes to look out for go to the Breast Cancer Care website.”
Samia al Qadhi, Chief Executive at Breast Cancer Care, said: “Every 10 minutes someone is diagnosed with breast cancer. We know that an earlier diagnosis of breast cancer can mean simpler and more effective treatment.
“So we’re delighted our partnership with The FA, is helping us to reach more men and the women they love, with this potentially life-saving information.
“It’s vital that women, and men, of all ages get to know their body by looking at and feeling their breast/chest area regularly. Then if they find any unusual changes to go and see their GP.”
