Brazil international Neymar has reached an outline agreement on a contract extension until 2021, which will raise his buyout clause above the current figure of €190 million. Barcelona are hopeful that the deal will be signed before the Copa del Rey final against Sevilla on Sunday.

Midfielder Busquets is also set to put pen to paper on a renewal that will make him one of the best-paid players in the Barcelona ranks.

A new deal with Nike should help the Blaugrana to fund these new contracts, with the club and sportswear brand striking an agreement worth €100m a year - slightly more than Manchester United receive from their deal with Adidas - that will see Nike continue to manufacture Barca's kits.

Progress has been slower with regards to Qatar Airways' shirt sponsorship, however, with both parties unable to come to a long-term agreement.

As things stand, a one-year deal worth €60m is likely to be signed, which would allow more time for negotiation between Barcelona and the airline.

Securing a more lucrative contract is a a top priority for the La Liga giants, as it would allow them to spend more money on wages in line with the Financial Fair Play regulations.
