The Old Lady's former coach has backed the club to turn their form around, while he also hinted at a future move to the Premier League
Former Juventus coach Luigi Del Neri states that nothing but victory is good enough at the club, although he understands their predicament so far.
The Serie A champions have faltered in the defence of their Scudetto following the loss of key players in Carlos Tevez, Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal in the summer, sitting 14th in the table after only winning two out of eight games so far.
But while Del Neri acknowledged patience is needed as their new signings adapt, he believes there is sufficient quality within the Bianconeri's ranks for them to begin rising up the standings again, and saw progress in the recent Derby d'Italia draw with Inter at the weekend.
"At Juventus you have to win, there is no room for other results," he told Goal. "But the Bianconeri have changed a lot, and have also been very unlucky. In their games against Udinese, Chievo Verona and Frosinone, they failed to finish many chances.
"Still, they have at least shown that they are able to create chances so there must be elements that work, and, for this reason, I think that Juventus will be able to re-enter the race for the title. They grew dramatically in the second half against Inter.
"The return of Sami Khedira - a great player - is proving to be decisive." (GOAL)
