Goals from Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil may have won an enthralling game at the Emirates Stadium, but a mischievous Berni the bear made his mark earlier in the day
Bayern Munich may have failed on the pitch in the Champions League after defeat from Arsenal on Tuesday night - but they certainly left their mark on local Londoners off it.
Goals from Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil wrapped up a memorable 2-0 home victory for the Gunners in their cruicial European clash with the Bundesliga side, sealing their first win in Group F.
And while the usually proficient Robert Lewandowski and Co. failed to sink their claws into the Arsenal backline at the Emirates, the club's mascot made far more of an impression on his trip to England's capital.
Berni the bear both scared and delighted a sometimes mystified general public before the big kick-off.
The club's mascot drove a London bus and befriended some amused passerbyers, which may just have proved a more successful visit to England than that of Pep Guardiola and his Bayern side. (GOAL)
