The former Super Eagles star was among the spectators as the blue-chip hospitality outfit bowed to their sister company on Saturday
Ex-international Victor Agali was among the top dignitaries that witnessed the GM’s Cup clash between Sheraton Hotel and Four Points by Sheraton on Saturday.
The game played at the British International School, Lagos saw both hospitality outfits display good football artistry for the fourth edition’s title but it was Sheraton Hotel who emerged victorious as they put their hosts to the sword courtesy of Friday Robson’s strike.
Going into this encounter, the hosts had spanked their vistors 3-0 in last year's edition and they hoped for the same scoreline but that proved futile as all efforts to cancel their deficit and earn the bragging rights proved fuitle as their attacking forays got curtailed by the hard as nut defenders of Sheraton.
Marc Wozniak, Four Points’ general manager praised his side for putting up a good fight despite the defeat, claiming their opponents deserved to win.
“We hosted to win but the game went the other way and the visitors emerged winners,” Wozniak said after the game.
“My side fought very hard, gave a good account of themselves but were unlucky not to have won.”
The result means both sides have won the title two times apiece with Sheraton Hotel hosting the 2016 edition. [GOAL]
