Goals from Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata earned Manchester United a comfortable 2-0 win over West Brom at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The 22-year-old was picked ahead of Memphis Depay by Louis van Gaal and he repaid his manager's faith with a fine goal, curling home from the edge of the box in the 52nd minute.
Mata then added some sheen to the scoreline in the 90th minute, as he converted from the penalty spot after Anthony Martial was fouled in the box by Gareth McAuley.
