The midfielder has been missing since the end of September but looks set to return to action in La Liga on Sunday
Barcelona have been handed boost ahead of Sunday’s game against Eibar after Andres Iniesta returned to training on Thursday.
The midfielder picked up a hamstring injury in the Champions League win over Bayer Leverkusen at the end of September and was ruled out for three weeks.
He has since missed the wins over Rayo Vallecano and BATE Borisov and the league defeat to Sevilla at the Sanchez Pizjuan.
However, he’s now back working with his team-mates and Luis Enrique should be able to count on him when Basque minnows Eibar visit Camp Nou this weekend.
Iniesta’s return comes after confirmation on Wednesday that Sergi Roberto will be out of action for the next 10 days.
The 23-year-old midfielder joins Rafinha and Lionel Messi on the treatment table, while Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal are unable to play until January due to registration ban imposed on the club by Fifa.
