Palace join West Brom in Ramos hunt (not that Ramos)

Crystal Palace have joined West Brom in the hunt for Borussia Dortmund striker Adrian Ramos.

Both clubs have held talks with Dortmund this week about the possibility of signing the Colombian striker.

Dortmund have attempted to scare Palace and West Brom off by putting a £16m price tag on the 29 year-old strikers' head.

The Premier League duo believe Ramos's valuation is closer to £9m after his injury hit season last term - he scored just two league goals  and managed only six Bundesliga starts in a disrupted first year at Dortmund.

But he is close to full fitness again and hoping to recapture his more prolific form from his spell at Hertha Berlin when he scored 68 leagues goals in 157 games over five seasons.
