Transfer Predictor round-up: Liverpool finally seal Benteke deal

The Reds secured the Belgian's signature for €46.5 million while the likes of Fabian Delph, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Allan and Stefan Savic also finalised significant transfers

It was a two-horse race at the top during the second week of Goal's Transfer Predictor game and both of our leading players have won a pair of Adidas football boots.

The top player of the week is osman999hussien from Saudi Arabia, who amassed an impressive 245 points by correctly predicting no less than seven transfers over the past seven days.

Our narrowly beaten runner-up is mohamdekhelifa of Algeria, who collected 222 points. His hard work will not go unrewarded, though, as by raising his Messi Level and using a banker token he earned a huge 108 points for correctly predicting Christian Benteke's move to Liverpool.

That was the highest-scoring transfer of the week and so both players will choose between a pair of Adidas X or Ace boots.

Remember, our prizes are given out based on weekly scores so you can sign up today and immediately be in contention to claim one of them next Friday.

DONE DEALS

Premier League clubs were once again the busiest across Europe in terms of major deals this week, with Christian Benteke's €46.5 million switch from Aston Villa to Liverpool one of the biggest of the summer transfer window so far and worth at least 40 points to Transfer Predictor users.

Manchester City further bolstered their English core by signing Fabian Delph - also from Villa and worth 25 points - after the midfielder's double U-turn as well as Fulham youngster Patrick Roberts.

Allan's move to Napoli and Newcastle's swoop for Aleksandar Mitrovic were also worth 25 points apiece, with bonuses available for players raising their Messi Level and using their banker token.

Stefan Savic, meanwhile, swapped Fiorentina for Atletico Madrid while Mario Suarez moved in the other direction.
